– Tofino, BC –
If you’ve never been to the gorgeous region of Tofino, you should add it to your list of destinations! This sprawling and picturesque area lies on the west coast of Vancouver Island and boasts the perfect swells for surfers, spots to whale-watch, and plenty for anyone who loves nature. It’s also close by the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, and the Maquinna Marine Provincial Park. So, when Kristin and Jerry announced their desire to host their intimate wedding there, I was thrilled. The abundance of natural rocks, small cliffs, and water provided ample fodder for scenic portraits, and we took full advantage!
This stylish couple are as kind as they are beautiful, and they were married August 11th. They have an adorable french bulldog named Peanut, who was part of the wedding, of course (he even had his own little floral bow tie!). Their heartfelt ceremony took place a few hours before sunset on Mackenzie Beach, and we captured lots of beautiful images at Crystal Cove. We also moved to the breathtaking Chesterman beach to catch the sunset, before the couple joined their families for dinner. It was such an amazing experience for me to photograph this unique wedding in one of my favorite places, and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Kristin and Jerry, for including me in your special day!
